Immersion Rooms - JWA Experiential Design

The Immersion Rooms were inspired by Richard Serra’s monumental sculpture displayed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The idea of disconnecting from the surrounding area drove the mission of the experience.

A separate experience from the lounges at SNA, the mission behind these rooms are to fully immerse travelers in the sights and sounds of Southern California. The experience is meant for a quick pause before heading along on their next connecting flight or grabbing a bite during their layover.

Mission

Space between Terminal B and C

  • Currently being used for an art exhibition

  • Low Foot Traffic

  • The space is quieter compared to the other terminals

Renders

Motion Mirrored

  • If there are more people in the space there will be more clips that will be shown

  • If there is a small amount of people the clips will transition slower so it is not distracting
